National Chemistry Week (NCW) 2025 will be held from October 19- 25th. NCW is a public awareness campaign that promotes the value of chemistry in everyday life. ACS members and chemistry enthusiasts celebrate NCW by coordinating events and communicating the importance of chemistry. You can find more information about NCW here.

If you are conducting a NCW activity and would like to request supplies such as the "Celebrating Chemistry" magazine please contact our NCW Coordinator, Dr. Leslie Hiatt. Digital copies of this magazine can be found here.  Many supplies can be purchased through the Coordinator for a discount or even provided at no cost.

Many of our section's NCW activities are organized by our excellent ACS Student Chapters. In order to support this work, the Nashville Section is providing the opportunity for Student Chapters to apply for funds as high as $200 per chapter. Complete this form to request funds to supplement your chapter's National Chemistry Week Activities. Priority will be given to applications submitted by October 13th. Funds will be sent out the week of October 19. Please submit the application earlier and let us know if you need the funds to order supplies. All submitted activities will be provided to the Local Section NCW Coordinator, and will be promoted by the Local Section. Applications can be submitted here.
