In preparation for the American Chemical Society’s 150th anniversary in 2026, the Nashville Section is gathering submissions for 150 notable people, places, and chemistry history with Nashville or Tennessee connections. From notable laboratories, such as Oakridge National Labs, and notable alumni, such as 2025 ACS President, Dr. Dorothy Phillips, Tennessee is full of chemistry history, and we want chemists in Nashville to be a part of celebrating that history.
